^FT — Field Typeset: baseline positioning

Description

^FT positions a field by its baseline origin — unlike ^FO's upper-left corner — and optionally justifies it. The origin does not move with rotation.

^XZ

Result

The text sits on the y=60 baseline; descenders would dip below it.
