^RB — Define the EPC Data Structure

Goal

Define the EPC data structure with ^RB.

Description

^RB splits EPC memory into partitions: total bit size followed by up to 15 partition sizes that must add up to it. Below is the SGTIN-96 map used across these lessons.

Example

^XA
^RB96,8,3,3,24,20,38
^FX SGTIN-96: 96 bits split 8-3-3-24-20-38.
^FO20,20^A0N,28,28^FDSGTIN-96 layout^FS
^XZ

Rendered ^RB label

Result

The partition map is stored; nothing is encoded yet — that is the next lesson.
