^HV — Host Verification: read data back

Description

^HV returns a numbered field's content back to the host computer, with an optional ASCII header. The field number must match the one given in ^FN or ^RF.

Example

^FX Field 3 is read from the tag and returned to the host.
^FO20,20^A0N,28,28^FDTag data returns to host^FS

Result

Field 3 is read back to the host; the printed line is just the label body.
