^DF — Download (Store) a Format
Description
^DF stores the format that follows under a name in printer memory; ^FN marks the fill-in fields. The next lesson recalls it with ^XF.
Example
^XA
^DFR:STORED.ZPL
^FO20,20^A0N,28,28^FN1^FS
^FO20,70^A0N,28,28^FN2^FS
^XZ
No preview: the preview service cannot store formats, so a ^DF label cannot be rendered here. This exact layout recalled — with its preview — is the next lesson.
Result
Stored, not printed: the preview service cannot store formats, so there is no preview here — the recall with its preview is the next lesson.
