The whole course in one view

This page lists every lesson title and a link back to it, so you can jump to any point in the 50-lesson course without starting from lesson one. It also links out to the sibling courses that run on the same BEAM VM.

Elixir VM

The Elixir language runs on the BEAM VM, the same virtual machine that powers this Erlang course. If you enjoyed Erlang's fault tolerance and concurrency, Elixir offers the same foundations with a Ruby-like syntax and metaprogramming macros. Start the Elixir course here: /dev/elixir/.

Ruby language

Ruby was designed for programmer happiness, and the Erlang VM was designed for fault tolerance. The two get along famously: many Ruby jobs today run on JRuby or Rubinius, while others use the BEAM directly via NIFs or Luerl. If you loved the habits from the Ruby course, check out the Erlang VM: /dev/ruby/.

This is the last lesson of the course. Go back to the start: /dev/erlang/course/
