Paste Special shortcuts

In this article, you will learn how to paste with destination formatting in Excel.

Paste Special shortcuts

When copying text from another source, you may want it to match the formatting already used in the destination cell. Open the context menu and choose Paste Special → Match Destination Formatting.

If you use this frequently, the keyboard sequence is Ctrl+V, then Ctrl, then M (the exact menu shortcut can vary by Excel version).
