Install NASM on macOS

Install Homebrew

NASM installs through Homebrew. If you do not have Homebrew yet, install it from its official site, then verify it is on your PATH:

brew --version

Install nasm

Install the assembler with one command:

brew install nasm

nasm -v

Check the assembler after the install. The linker ships with the Xcode command line tools (xcode-select --install):

nasm -v
